Ms. Bijal jagad - 23 years of outstanding performance at various responsible positions in the pharmaceutical / Health care / FMCG business. Formal education consisting of a B.Sc. with Bio-Chemistry, Based out of Mumbai, Prior responsibility reflects outstanding career growth and progress through various business arena ranging from the domestic pharmaceutical market consisting trade, institutional and supply chain management in General, Diabetic Nephro Segment and in FMCG sector Specializing in cosmetic products with alongside 11 yrs of presence in the Adivasi belt of Maharashtra and Gujarat as CSR professional.
The Journey in CSR for Bijal Jagad well began before she could take up a job, right during the time of college she got B i Shree Sutra attracted to take up projects at local level in the slums of Mumbai educating women on hygiene, importance of education for kids and nutrition.
A Normal child /teenager at that point of time could be only concentrating on studies, but as they say if it is in one’s DNA, it is bound to come back to you at any given point of time in life quotes Bijal Jagad.
In 1996, she took up the first job in a pharmaceutical company a general segment company. With nothing much to offer, her career moved soon to multinational companies with proprietary medicines dealing in chronic fl; - medical care. Finally after 12 years as a working professionally, suddenly on one of the Friday evenings, a friend approached her to join in for a social activity being done in Palghar, a prominent tribal belt in Maharashtra. SHE JOINED the divine call and from then on it was never looking back. Since then, silently from past 12 years, Bijal has been working relentless venturing into the tribal belts of Maharashtra and Gujarat understanding their requirement and fulfilling it by looping companies/ individual contributors to reach this tribal areas and guide them for responsible investments that co-creates values for the organization and the beneficiaries.
During covid times she got an inkling and understood her path and this is what she was for born for. Bijal Jagad strongly believes that the primary mission of this profession as service facilitator is to enhance human well-beings and help meet basic and complex needs of all people, with a particular focus on those who are vulnerable, oppressed, and living in poverty. Shree Sutra as a service implementer in the domain of ESG/CSR/ESH provides in-depth insights and analysis through combination of knowledge collaboration and objectivity by guiding the organization for responsible investment with strategic sustainable and technical solutions with objectives at the execution level.
Any organization purpose is to define, accelerate and scale the sustainability performance by developing actionable insights for the organization, thereby calling for responsible investments. She believes that if a company is responsible enough to look in to the ESG/CSR/ESH investments, it shows the linkage and enhanced brand value of the companies culture, transparency culminating into profits to attract new investors leading to low cost capital further enabling the company to easily raise money for future expansions.
It has never been an easy task and journey says Bijal, as there have been many instances and hurdles wherein she had to pursue the panchayat / the sarpanch to convince them that the activities happening in the villages are for their own good and welfare of the village inhabitants. Bijal continued with passion, despite the pressure from local bodies on a continuity basis and finally today they all are in sync with her ideas seeing the benefits accrued.
Initial stages, when Bijal started visiting the interior tribal areas of Maharashtra and Gujarat around 12 yrs back to understand the helplessness of the Aided/Non Aided schools not having provision for books ,Biology, Chemistry Labs ,uniforms and all basic study material etc. Basic infrastructure was not in place, she made up her mind and with passion she pledged to herself that if India has to be on international maps 2 things are of utmost importance, Education and Nutrition complimented with Medical attention and treatment options need to be made available at local level.
With all the experience behind her, Bijal is now an expert in the area of handling the tribal belt and nuance of handling the local bodies for prompt coordination. Now she wishes and is confident that with this backup of experience, Bijal is market ready to assist and impact many lives through CSR service model in collaboration with companies who seek her expertise for their ESG/CSR/ESH Projects and Programs.
PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS UNDER THE ESG/CSR/ESH WING
1.Tree of Life Project :
a) Tree Plantations in Palghar, Shahad, Shahpur, Vapi, Valsad, Dharmapur, Tapi, Palanpur, Songhad
b) Drip Farming projects with newer techniques of farming
c) Providing Mud made tree House for natural Habitat
2.AAO School Chale Project:
a) Supporting Aided and Non Aided schools for Note books/long books Pen, Pencil Etc requirement
b) Nutrition Support by supporting monthly Grocery
c) Building Chemistry and Biology Labs
d) Digitilization Programe to prepare India for a knowledge future with support of computers at schools / Ashramshala / Chhatralay.
3. Project Healthians:
a) Thalessemia detection medical camps and treatment
b) Cataract Detection and Surgery
¢) Treatment of water born disease like Typhoid and Malaria.
d) Gynecology related medical conditions and treatment
e) Nutrition support for carrying mother with grocery support.
f) Educating girls on Puberty and use of sanitary pads and supporting with sanitary pads and incinerator machines for disposal
4.Project illumination: ZERO Carbon footprints
a) Renewable Energy - Solar Panels at Schools / Chhataraly / Ashamshala / 0ld Age homes
5.Project Artify: Promoting ancient Art culture.
a) Literature project that saw in collaboration with Gujarat Sahitya Academy which involved 323 students participating across Maharashtra and Gujarat and 12 winning students been awarded for their literary work and an anthology book to be published by Gujarat Sahitya Acdemy for literary work sent by students.
b) Madhubani drawing competiton with Lalit Kala Academy where in 193 students participated across Maharashtra and Gujarat. Winners awarded for their Art with trophies and certificates and keeping the flame of Madhubani art form live not only in Bihar but also in other states of India.
6.Project H20:
a) Water harvesting with provision of Bore well and recharging Bore Well
b) Developing check dams for retention of water in places at higher altitudes with slopes difficult to retain leading scarcity of water.
c) Supporting the Natural Habitat by distribution of Mud made water plates in the villages, Cities, Forests and creating Artificial Ponds.

Bijal Jagad has just not been an ESG consultant or a pharma professional, she is Author/Poet with 30 Anthology books to her name and she writes in Hindi/English and Gujarati languages. Her literary work is featured in Canada's famous Gujarat News Line paper, along with Hindi Samana, Bhojpuri Sandesh, Lucknow, Vapi Sanket, Vapi. Gandhinagar Metro, Gujarat Mail, Gurjar Bhoomi, Gurjar Garjana, Dastak Prabhat, Bihar, JNJ Magazine Delhi, Gujarat Chaya, Saurashtra Chaya, Suprabhat Saurashtra and also published in Online Bulletin, published from Bilaspur, E Paper and Opinion magazine published from London.

Bijal signs of saying - Here My Spiritual journey began 13 years ago and have realized that Life is a journey, not a destination. One has to constantly move on.
